Brenda L. Agency Owner & Court Reporting Professional
Brenda LaFleur is a seasoned court reporting professional with over 23 years of industry experience, including 13 years as the owner of her own court reporting agency and a decade working for a leading firm in Connecticut. Throughout her career, Brenda has gained extensive expertise in scheduling, accounting, and production management, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service for legal professionals. Her deep understanding of the court reporting industry, combined with her commitment to accuracy and efficiency, has made her a trusted partner for attorneys and law firms. She is passionate about staying at the forefront of emerging technologies in court reporting, continuously refining processes to enhance accuracy, speed, and client convenience. Beyond her professional achievements, Brenda is a dedicated mother of five. In her free time, she enjoys boating, reading, and exploring the latest advancements in court reporting technology. Tina L., CRR
Tina M. Landau is a certified court reporter with over 30 years of experience. She started at the Litchfield County Courthouse where she soon after went on to a freelance reporting career covering depositions and hearings in all facets of the legal system. She then started her own reporting agency, A+ Reporting, which is still swerving some of her original clients today. She ultimately sold the business to concentrate on raising her son. Her commitment to her clients is delivering accurate, timely transcripts. Outside of work, Tina enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, and boating where she now lives on the shoreline of Mystic, Connecticut.

Kathy N is a freelance court reporter with 40+ years of experience. She continues to fill in when needed and is always available to mentor new reporters. With seven grandchildren she’s enjoying every sport they play. In her free time, you’ll find her on the golf course or relaxing with a book in her hand.
Alexa B., RPR, CRR
Alexa is a Certified Real Time Reporter and a Registered Professional Reporter. Alexa was a Court Reporter in the mid 1990's for two years and then began a 25-year career as a broadcast closed-captioner serving the deaf and hard-of hearing community. She re-entered the court reporting industry as a deposition and agency hearing reporter in April of 2024. Alexa maintains a strong work ethic and truly cares about the quality of her transcripts. She provides real-time reporting on a regular basis to assist attorneys and their clients with their needs. Alexa tries to submit her work as quickly as possible given the demands of her work schedule. She has received many compliments over both careers regarding her work and attention to detail. After approximately 25 years working at home, she really enjoys being back out in the "world" and meeting and conversing with the diverse legal community.

With a strong commitment to accuracy, she is building a solid foundation in the field of court and voice reporting. Outside of her academic pursuits, Arianna finds balance through her love of fitness, quality time with family and friends, and the rewarding experience of motherhood. She brings a strong work ethic, focus, and sense of purpose to both her personal and professional life.

Tina has been a certified court reporter in the State of Connecticut for 28 years. She is passionate about the profession and holds the highest of standards in providing accurate, reliable transcripts. She strives to accommodate each and every request an attorney may have (realtime, rough drafts, expedites, etc.). During her time as a court reporter, Tina has attended depositions and hearings throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. She particularly enjoys medical malpractice cases and expert witness testimony because of the opportunity it provides to learn something new in each deposition. Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, watching her sons race cars at racetracks throughout New England, and cooking a Sunday dinner.
Cheryl K., CRR
Cheryl began her career in court reporting after passing her State of CT exam from school with 100 percent accuracy, her first job being the Workers' Compensation Commission, Seventh District, Stamford, Ct., where she was employed for five years before starting her family. Cheryl specializes in medical-expert testimony and Workers' Compensation litigation. After a nine-year hiatus to raise her family in Houston, Texas, Cheryl returned to Court Reporting in 2018, where she reestablished herself in her career, and returned to her chosen profession, introducing herself to Real Time Reporting. Because Cheryl believes that Court Reporters are essential to our judicial system, she is hoping to teach Court Reporting to continue this time -honored profession, and to showcase that AI is not our replacement. Melissa began her career in 2004 as the official reporter for the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission (8th District). In 2006, she became a freelance reporter, working on cases that run the gamut from personal injury, family law, to medical malpractice. She lives with her family in Connecticut. In her free time, she likes walking her dogs, doing yoga, and being a slave to her daughter’s insane extracurricular activities.

She covers an array of jobs, including utility hearings and personal injury. In her free time Theresa enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dogs. Wendy has been the Office Manager of A Plus Reporting since 2004, keeping our office running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes as well as cultivating a personal rapport with clients and our team of court reporters. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family including her four grandchildren and her dog, Peach.

Abby is an attentive and organized office assistant passionate about supporting court reporting efforts. She specializes in managing deposition and hearing schedules, handling case files, and ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks. Adept with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and ReporterBase 9, Abby contributes to efficient and confidential court operations. Outside the office, she enjoys beach outings, baking, and spending time with her pup and family.
